Meet Aspen! She went from being alone 10 hours a day to having a family who wanted her so badly they drove 8 hours to pick her up from her wonderful Foster, Autumn. Autumn got her skin condition under control, started potty training and was bathing her daily! She now has a great home with a brother, Mister Westie!

Bentley was so lucky to find his new home with these great folks. Bentley's mom got very sick and could no longer care for this 12-year-old. It was heartbreaking. She had taken very good care of him. He is happy in his new home!

Kerrigan's mom got very sick and he needed a new home. His foster mom had a horrible family emergency but yet she still managed to get Kerrigan into an UBER to be taken to his new home with Carol. She is spoiling him and very happy to have him.Â

Macaroni was surrendered because they say he was marking on anything the "dad" had. We are just not sure - maybe Dad deserved it?? But he is happy in his new home in Central Florida.Â

Robbie is a very lucky boy! He was almost 'put down' for being aggressive. He spent some time with our wonderful dog trainer, Juan, who said Robbie was the smartest dog he ever had. His new mom, Debra, is still working with him but reports good things and even thinks he might be ready for brother or sister soon.

Sophie was called Snoopy when we got a call from the wife saying if we didn't come right away her husband was going to kill Snoopy for killing their cat. Our foster, Cathy's husband jumped int he car and went to pick her up. It was obvious this dog had never had a bath, lived outdoors (she was called Snoopy because she liked to sleep on top of her pen) and had been used for breeding. Cathy bathed and groomed her and found underneath all the matted hair, a sweet and gently puppy who loved cuddles. She also had never seen a toy before but quickly started playing. Cathy passed her along to our other Foster, Diana, who took care of her for a couple of weeks and took her to the vet to get her shots and get fixed. Finally, she was adopted by her forever family, and they say she is having the time of her life.Â

Wally was found wandering the streets and taken to a local shelter who called us. We had to wait until he was cleared for pick up but no one came forward and we picked him up. He wasn't in very bad shape so we assumed he was not wandering the streets long. But it became clear why he was abandoned; he had Cushings disease. We got him on meds and once stable, we were lucky to find the perfect family for him. Maria and Ken had a dog live to 19 who had Cushings so they were very familiar with the disease. Now, Wally is loving life and is extremely spoiled. His Foster got to visit with him recently and reports he looks wonderful!Â
